53rd International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques

21 - 23 October 2024, Dalian, China

Introduction
The International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques is an international series of academic conferences, and is also one of the most renowned and largest-scale academic conferences in the field of chromatography, enjoying a high reputation internationally. The first HPLC conference was held in Switzerland in 1973 and has been thriving, with a scale of around 600-1500 participants. In the past, it alternated between the United States and Europe, but in 2008, in the 33rd HPLC, it was held in Asia for the first time, in Japan. Then this conference is held in the United States, Europe and Asia in turns.

The 53rd International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2024 Dalian), will be held on Oct. 21-23, 2024 in the Dalian International Conference Center. It will be hosted by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the Chromatography Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society, with Academician Yukui Zhang and Academician Guibin Jiang serving as honorary chairmen, and Prof. Guowang Xu and Prof. Lihua Zhang serve as Conference Chair and Co-chairman, respectively.

The HPLC symposium series is renowned as the world’s leading conference on liquid phase separations and related technologies. It covers all aspects of separation sciences in liquid and supercritical fluid phases as well as hyphenation with advanced detection technologies in particular mass spectrometry. The program will span from fundamentals and theory of chromatographic separations and detection principles, over methodological and technological advances including separation materials, column technologies and instruments, to applications in various fields including proteomics and metabolomics and quality assurance aspects. The symposium will feature plenary and invited lectures from the leading scientists in the field which will be invited and selected from these lecturers in coming months.

At that time, an exhibition of chromatography-related instruments and accessories will be held, aiming to showcase the new analytical instruments, life science instruments, environmental analysis instruments, laboratory instruments, food analysis instruments, chemical reagents, etc. developed and produced by famous analytical instrument manufacturers around the world inrecent years. Additionally, there will be multiple sessions for new product launches, technical exchanges and forums, technology lectures, and trade negotiation activities.
