We are delighted to let you know that we have arranged for a group tour of Woodforde鈥檚 Brewery followed by a meal at the adjoining Fur & Feather pub.
The tour includes a brief history of Woodforde's and a comprehensive look at brewing showing the contrast between the traditional and more modern brewing equipment. We finish in the Brewery Shop where we will have an opportunity to sample the beers and browse the range of Woodforde鈥檚 souvenirs and other local products. Please note that the tour requires visitors to negotiate several staircases. If you have reduced mobility this might be difficult and may reduce the overall tour experience. The brewery does not have lift access.
After the tour we can walk across to the Fur & Feather, the Brewery Tap, to round off the visit at a well-known establishment that serves hearty, locally-sourced food, and offers a full selection of Woodforde鈥檚 draught beers on tap.
The cost for the tour followed by a 2 course meal will be 拢35 each for members and one guest and 拢45 for non-members. The places are limited, and no bookings or cancellations will be accepted after 20 June 2025. Please email John Dawson (john.daw@btinternet.com), requesting registration for this event and provide the number of places required. A menu and request for choices will be sent during June to those who have registered. Bank transfer details will be supplied on receipt and confirmation of your booking request.
All visitors entering the Woodforde's site must wear fully enclosed, non-slip shoes that cover both toes and heels; no flip flops or sandals are allowed. Please also avoid high or pointed heels.
