The 22nd Fluorine Interest Group Postgraduate Meeting will be held on 4-5th April 2024 at Newcastle University.
We are excited to announce the participation of three world-leading scientists as our plenary lecturers:
The conference will also provide the opportunity for ECRs, including postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers to give short oral presentations and/or participate in a poster session which will be held on 4th April.
The Fluorine Interest Group of the UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ supports all aspects of fluorine chemistry within the UK and we are looking for speakers across a broad range of disciplines which utilise fluorine chemistry. If you would like to be considered for an oral or poster presentation, please register and submit your abstract to matthew.hopkinson@newcastle.ac.uk by 15th March 2024 *NOTE - The deadline has been extended*. Abstract templates can be found on this page. Participants will be notified if they have been selected for an oral or poster presentation by 18th March 2024.

- Dr. Tatiana Besset, Director of Research CNRS (senior scientist) at the Université de Rouen, France, Recipient of the UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Fluorine Chemistry Award 2023
- Dr. Matthew Tredwell, Lecturer in Medicinal Chemistry at Cardiff University and Research Radiochemist at the Wales Research and Diagnostic PET Imaging Centre
- Dr. Yi Jin, Wellcome Trust Sir Henry Dale Fellow at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, University of Manchester
