Dalton Young Members Event (DYME) 2023

17 August 2023 10:00 - 18 August 2023 17:30, Birmingham, United Kingdom

Introduction
This free symposium is specifically designed to support PhD students and post-doctoral researchers within the Inorganic community, providing presentation and networking opportunities for early career researchers.

The symposium will feature talks from established academics and industrial chemists, as well as a packed schedule of oral and poster presentations by PhD and post-doctoral researchers.

A careers panel session will provide delegates with the chance to discover more about potential career opportunities, and a conference dinner will allow ample opportunity for networking.

Registration for this event is free, and is inclusive of lunch and coffee breaks.

How to get here:
The University of Birmingham is most easily accessed by train to the univeristy train station (station code: UNI), just a five minute train ride from Birmingham New Street. Parking on campus is very limited. Further information can be found here: https://www.birmingham.ac.uk/contact/directions/getting-here-edgbaston.aspx

Where to stay:
We recommend that delegates opt to stay in the city centre, where there are a wide range of budget hotels, and arrive at the conference on one of the frequent trains to the Univeristy train station. Alternatively, delegates may book accomodation on campus at The Edgebaston Park Hotel: https://www.edgbastonparkhotel.com/
