Chemical meteorology linking weather and atmospheric composition

18 April 2012, London, United Kingdom

Introduction
Meteorological processes play an important role in controlling atmospheric composition and its variability over a wide range of spatial and temporal scales, from the turbulent mixing of fresh emissions near the exhaust pipe to intercontinental transport associated with the evolution of weather systems. This meeting brings together meteorologists and atmospheric composition specialists to present recent advances in our understanding at the interface of these disciplines and to highlight the ongoing challenges.
