The UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Recognition Fund is a special trust for the purposes of advancing the science of chemistry and its application for the public benefit by recognising excellence through the provision of awards, prizes and other means. It was registered with the Charity Commission of England and Wales in 2021 as a linked charity of the UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ of Chemistry.
Created by combining thirty historical awards funds as part of the modernisation of UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Recognition Programmes, the fund is vital to our programmes stemming back across more than 150 years of UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ recognition and celebration of excellence in the chemical sciences.
Donations to the UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Recognition Fund
A donation to the UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Recognition Fund offers new donors the option to make a gift directly to our recognition activities to celebrate, incentivise and support excellence in chemistry and its applications.
As our discipline and the world around us evolve, we will continue to recognise the many types of excellence that are important for chemistry to benefit society today and tomorrow. Highlights for 2022 have been our Research & Innovation Prizes, our Horizon Prizes for teams and collaborations, our Inclusion & Diversity Prize and our Education Prizes. We celebrate our winners in our digital gallery.
