Our president, Professor Gill Reid, visited China this week, during which time she joined members of our China team in representing the UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ of Chemistry at the 34th (CCS) Congress.

One of our most prestigious journals, Chemical Communications, turns 60 this year. As part of the celebrations around the world this year, Prof Gill Reid attended a special ChemComm 60th anniversary symposium as an invited speaker.
As part of the CCS Congress we organised an UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ President’s Reception, which was attended by senior UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ members, UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Prize winners, editorial board members, and student representatives.
