Dr Nicole Faure

I am a Biochemical Engineer from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso (PUCV, Chile) with a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow (UK) obtained in 2016.

Since I was an undergraduate student at PUCV I had been working with enzymes. My doctoral thesis was focused in the study of immobilised enzymes at a molecular level by solution- and solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy in a joint research with the University of Strathclyde (WestCHEM). 

During my doctoral studies I participated in several UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ local sections and meetings in the UK that were very beneficial for my career. I want to extend this experience to Chile and help to grow a professional community with a common interest: chemistry.
