25th European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry (EMEC25)

23 - 25 November 2025, Chania, Greece

Introduction
The 25th edition of the European Meeting on Environmental Chemistry (EMEC25), will take place in Chania, Crete from 23rd to 25th November 2025.
The EMEC events are organized on an annual basis on behalf of the Association of Chemistry and the Environment (ACE). This year, as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of ACE, EMEC25 will continue its legacy of bringing together scientists, researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals to discuss latest advancements in a wide range of topics in the field of environmental chemistry. This year’s meeting will focus on advancing sustainable solutions, addressing environmental challenges, and exploring the latest breakthroughs in environmental science and technology. With a diverse program of keynote lectures, oral presentations, interactive sessions, and poster exhibitions, EMEC25 aims to spark meaningful dialogue, promote innovative research, and drive impactful solutions for a sustainable future.
The conference venue in the heart of the Venetian port in Chania, surrounded by monuments dating back to 5000 BC, provides the perfect setting for us to interact, collaborate, exchange ideas, and work towards a brighter future. The location is ideal for an unforgettable trip, and we are excited to put together a truly outstanding technically, but also fun, programme.
