Introduction
Join us for our third dedicated conference all about Chartered Chemist (CChem) in 2023. This highly interactive and engaging online event will be a blend of focused learning sessions to help your career development and a celebration of your success. We will also be celebrating chemical science employers who have recently gained UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ of Chemistry accredited status.

Programme details

Session 1: How to recognise, plan and embed codes of conduct and ethical practice across your whole role for a stronger, more compelling CChem application. You will get the chance to create your own plan of action, share ideas and gain insight from other members.

Session 2: How to use CChem for setting goals, planning and reflecting on impactful Continuous Professional Development (CPD). You will learn about why goal setting is important, understand how CChem links with this and discover how the new UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Pathfinder CPD tool supports your CPD journey.

Session 4: Mentoring for CChem. A refresher session on what mentoring for CChem involves, making the most of mentoring for your career and a chance to share best practice.

This event is aimed at those thinking about becoming CChem, those going through the process, CChem holders and CChem mentors.

This event is suitable for PhD students, post doctoral researchers, chemists based in industry, education and in roles outside the laboratory.
