UUÂãÁÄÖ±²¥ Analytical Biosciences Group Annual General Meeting

16 November 2022 15:00-19:00, London, United Kingdom

Introduction

Introduction

The Analytical Biosciences Group will be holding our 77th Annual General Meeting on the 16th November 2022. The meeting will take place at the King’s College London and will also be live streamed via an online platform. The meeting is open to all group members and external guests and aims to engage early career researchers in debate and discussions about all areas of analytical biosciences, and provide the opportunity to network with other researchers in the field.

In our group we aim to give our members a broad perspective of the current state of the art for analytical techniques, with detailed examples of their applications in biosciences. As such, each contribution will aim to demonstrate the quality and value of each methodology.

As a part of our AGM, we will have two keynote speakers, one of them an early career researcher:
  • ECR speaker: John-Paul Ayrton, University College London, United Kingdom
  • Plenary speaker: Professor Frankie Rawson, University of Nottingham, UK
Additionally, you will be able to meet our three new committee members who will help to develop the group further, by planning, organising and participating in events and activities for our group members. They are:
  • Eamonn Reading, King’s College London
  • Krisztina Radi, Protein Metrics Inc.
  • Carlos Fernandez, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen
The AGM is a perfect opportunity to join and contribute to the discussion if you have not joined before. We welcome all members to join us in person, but this will a hybrid event, and so can also be accessed remotely for our members.

We hope to see you there!
