Introduction
The lecture will be given by Prof. Bernd Giese of the University of Fribourg (Switzerland). Prof. Giese has spent most of his career studying the reactivity of radicals, and spanned this research over many aspects of chemistry, from organic synthesis over DNA damage to enzyme mechanisms.
