Following the spirit and style of the fourteen preceding conferences during its 26-year-long history, the conference will offer networking opportunities among recognized leaders in the field, young scientists and students. The program will include the third C. David Gutsche Award lecture, three plenary and 25 invited lectures delivered by top-tier international scientists. Oral contributions, flash presentations and two poster sessions will be also scheduled.
The conference will take place in Cassis, a little seaside resort snuggled between two exceptional natural sites (the famous Massif des Calanques and the majestic Cap Canaille) offering its visitors a concentrate of Provence and the Mediterranean Sea. This little fishing harbour is a wonderful place to host an international scientific event such as Calix-2019.
